SAPC Volleyball Teams Bag Unit Meet Crown

San Antonio de Padua College High School Volleyball teams bag the Unit meet crowns for both Boys and Girls division last October 29,2010 at the San Luis Sports Complex, Sta. Cruz, Laguna. The SAPC Girls Volleyball team successfully defended the crown and captured it’s 10th straight Unit Meet title. Prior to this unit meet, the team also captured it’s 14th straight District meet title. The SAPC Boys Volleyball team grabbed it’s 3rd straight unit meet trophy.
SAPC Trainers Bagged the Gold and Bronze Medals in the 1st Laguna Trainers’ Encounter

San Antonio de Padua College trainers bagged the gold and bronze medals in the 1st Laguna Trainers Encounter held in St. Michaels’s College and Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial School of Arts & Trades in Biñan, Laguna last Oct 12 & 13, 2010. Mrs. Janet I. Blancaflor won First Place in the Baking and Pastry Production NCII Category and Mrs. Remilyn Cabrera got the Bronze Medal in the Commercial Cooking NCII category. The event with the Theme ”A Showcase of Trainers’ Skills Excellence” was a joint project of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), the Private Technical Vocational Education Administrators’ Association (PTVEA), and the Laguna League of Accredited Competency Assessors (LLACA). It is a competition of all instructors of technical vocational institutions in Laguna. The competition that started last October 12 was participated in by 27 Technical Vocational Schools in Laguna. Forty-nine (49) TESDA trainers competed in 11 skills category for the chance to represent the province in the Regional competition slated on October 26-29, 2010.

Engr. Mark Jefferson Visey Matienzo and Engr. Joseph Keith Mangue Lat, Batch 2005 of San Antonio de Padua College made it to the Professional Mechanical and Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination which was held on Sept. 9-10, and Sept. 11-12 respectively.
Moreover, Nurses Lovely Arinuelo Canayon, Annilyn Herradura Franco, and Raymund Victor Tiongson Martinez of Batch 2006 passed the Professional Nursing Licensure
Examination held on July 3-4.
14 Paduan Scouts Participate in the Final Board of Review

After passing the Crew Leaders Training Course (CLTC) and Pre-Board of Reviews conducted in different places in Laguna, 14 Venturer Scouts of San Antonio de Padua College took part in the Final Board of Review for Eagle Scout held at Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Laguna Council, Los Banos, Laguna, Sept. 18.
Sctr. Justino C. Arellano, Council Scout Executive recognized the finalists and their panelists for this review. Sctr. Necerio P. Averion, National Office representative, spoke an inspirational message to the scouts. Other scouters from different councils were present during the program. Sctr. Andrew B. Cano hosted the said program.
The finalists were grouped into seven: Aldrin Isaac C. Batingal (Group I);. Juer V. Evangelista, Junelle O. Gagaring, and Angelo Rean V. Guico and Karl Benz Montesines (Group III); Oscar M. Lat Jr. and Karl Isaah C. Lobusta, (Group IV); Ermelson O Nograda, (Group V); Marvin A. Samonte and Jefferson B. Santayana (Group VI); Joseph Matthew M. Vidor, Jeffrey V. Villanueva, John Derrick C. Villaverde and Bien Phillip C. Violanta (Group VII).
More than 180 Venturer Scouts wanting to be Eagle Scouts from different schools in Laguna faced their panelists.
The Final Board of Review ended around 5 o’clock in the afternoon. Sctr. Reynaldo A. Talavera, Council Program Commissioner ended the activity with the Scout benediction.
SAPC housekeeping training of CARD CMDI personnel started today at their Tranca, Bay facility. Twelve (12) utility messengers from different CARD CMDI units will undergo training up to October 9, 2010. This is the second batch of CARD CMDI trainees.

SAPC Dual Training System Update
SAPC Dual Training System team will set up information booth during the Bañamos Festival of Los Baños, Laguna on September 16 to 19, 2010. The team is headed by Professor Ma. Mime Castillo and Ms. Apol Soriano. The first DTS trainees on baking will soon be deployed in Goldilocks Plant at Mamatid, Cabuyao, Laguna. The next venture will be Food and Beverage Servicing for Enchanted Kingdom, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
Free Medical Consultation at SAPC Sets In
“Because we care”
San Antonio de Padua College (SAPC) opens a free GENERAL MEDICAL CONSULTATION on September 6 onwards for all students and parents. The health service will be available every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the school’s medical clinic. Dr. Armando B. Figueroa, school’s president, will administer the service.
SAPC Intramurals 2010
Equipped with strength, ability, and confidence, Paduans whacked the last days of August with a parade which started from the Pila town center. The whole studentry from elementary to college participated in this sports-breaking event.
